Fadzai Memory Dzingayi is a mother of 3, 2 boys and a girl. She is an entrepreneur who ventured into Farming, Beauty Therapy Institute and hosts events that benefit women and children. She was born and raised in Kadoma. Her business journey started in Victoria falls in 2000 where she had a restaurant and a bar, a clothing shop and a touring company until 2008.  She then relocated to Harare the same year where she did a beauty specialist and health fitness course. Her passion on being a Beauty specialist led her to opening a school that is now ITEC approved and has been running from 2021 to date. Farming has become part of her journey. She started farming in 2015 to date, she also ventured into stud breeding (boran) and various crops (e.g. Maize Soya etc.)

10-minute workout for beginners

 

Here’s a simple 10-minute workout routine for beginners that you can try:

 

  1. Warm-up (2 minutes):

 

  1. March or jog in place for 1 minute.

 

  1. Do arm circles (forward and backward) for 30 seconds each.

 

  1. Perform some gentle neck and shoulder stretches.

 

  1. Bodyweight squats (2 minutes):

 

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart.

 

  1. Slowly lower your body down as if sitting into an imaginary chair, keeping your knees behind your toes.

 

  1. Go as low as you comfortably can, then push through your heels and return to the starting position.

 

Repeat for 12-15 reps.

 

  1. Push-ups (2 minutes):

 

  1. Place your hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.

 

  1. Keeping your body in a straight line, lower your chest towards the floor by bending your elbows.

 

  1. Push back up to the starting position.

 

Perform modified push-ups on your knees if you find regular push-ups too challenging.

 

Aim for 8-10 reps.
