Racheal Chakwa Mwewa, commonly known as Xaven-kopala-Queen , is a Zambian rapper and singer. She was born on September 1, 1998, in Mufurila and later relocated to Chingola on the Copperbelt.
From a young age, Xaven had a passion for music, influenced by her elder brother Y celeb, who also started his music career at an early age. While in high school in Mpongwe, she engaged in freestyle music, inspired by Y celeb’s contribution to the Zambian music scene. She was featured in Chef’s ‘Bon Appetit’ album on a song called “Mu City” and later collaborated with her elder brother Y celeb, resulting in a chart-topping track. Xaven has also collaborated with various local and international artists, including Bwiza from Rwanda and Driemo from Malawi. She has worked with renowned Zambian artists such as Chef 187, Slap D, Yo Maps, Y celeb, Nez Long, and many others. In 2020, she signed up with Nexus Music and she has been releasing songs.
In 2022, Xaven was honored with the Zambian Female Artist of the Year award at the Diamond TV Personality Awards, making her the first female artist from the Copperbelt to receive this accolade. In 2023, her hard work was further recognized as she won the Diamond TV Awards for the second consecutive year and also received the Ngoma Award for Best Female Act of the Year. Notably, Xaven’s category included respected musicians such as Mampi and Esther Chungu.
